A machine gun going flat out is always welcome at TFB and our Photo Of The Day. Here we have U.S. soldiers with the Lightning Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment conducting a blank practice before a live fire exercise. The location is the 7th Army Training Command’s Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany.
A U.S. Soldier with Lightning Troop fires the Heckler & Koch M320 grenade launcher module.
Below: The M320 grenade launcher module attached to an M4 carbine. Do you prefer the M320 stand-alone or mounted on a carbine? Or neither?
Below: Engaging the targets. A lot of brass means a lot of fun, but also a lot of cleaning. Are these guys using both a tripod and a bipod?
Below: Calling in on the radio.
We hope you liked today’s set of pictures. Please check back tomorrow for a new bunch of articles, reviews and images.
