They approach it differently- a few move the 12 days further out to account for shipping, if they do most of their business online. Either way, the winter sales are a good opportunity to get those last-minute gifts, use up FSA funds, or round out a survival kit before 2026 gets here.
For the most part, the deals are on emergency food storage and tactical gear. They are usually flash sales on specific gear or supplies, designed to look like an Advent calendar, in a way. Augason Farms is running their 12 Days of Preparedness this year, with limited-time deals on different categories of their emergency food.
- The first sale was for 25% off pantry pouches. They call it a stocking-stuffer, but I would have a tough time fitting pantry pouches in my stocking.
- Next, they ran a BOGO on all Milk & Cookie ingredients.

BladeHQ always goes strong for the holidays, and this year is no exception. Their pre-holiday sales had plenty of strong markdowns, but their countdown deals are consistently good and prompted us to make this roundup to begin with.
